About the Foundation

The Webster Foundation, formed by Rob and Kathy Webster, was created to assist employees and employees families with higher education expenses and to offer grants in the Ripon area to benefit and enhance the lives of those around us.

Matching Funds
Funds are available up to five hundred dollars per Christian Youth Group per year. The Christian Youth Group may do as many fundraisers as necessary until they meet the five hundred dollar maximum amount. Fund raiser must be approved for matching funds prior to fund raiser start date. The Foundation will continue accepting applications until all budgeted funds have been spoken for during the calendar year. All Christian Youth Groups are encouraged to re-apply in future years. Christian Youth Groups that our foundation supports are in the following areas: Ripon,Green Lake, Princeton, Berlin, Markesan, Fairwater, Pickett, Brandon, and Rosendale. Grants

Eligible groups, including non-profit, church and service groups are asked to fill out an application for funding. Grants are available from $1,000.00 to $10,000.00 starting June 1, 2010.

Application Process

The application requests general information, purpose of the grant and financial information. All grant applications must be filled out and returned to Ripon Pick 'n Save, attn: Stephanie Sauerbrei, by November 30, 2010.

Scholarships
In order to be eligible the applicant must be an employee of Webster's United Foods Service for 6 months previous to January 1, 2010 and be graduating from High School in the spring of 2010 and continuing their education OR must be a child of an employee or an employee of Webster's United Foods Service continuing their education.

Application Process
Applicants are asked to fill out an application for scholarship, obtain a letter of Recommendation from a Sponsor as also write a letter in one page or less how they would benefit from the scholarship.

Scholarships amounts vary every year based on the number of eligible applicants. The criteria for applying for a Scholarship includes (not in any particular order):

How we have Affected the Community

We are pleased to announce that to-date the foundation has awarded over Two hundred seventy thousand dollars ($270,000) and is looking to give away Fifty-thousand dollars ($50,000) in 2010 between Scholarships and Grants and Matching Funds.
